About This Project
ROTES – Enhancing the relevance of vocational training for roofers with the latest industry standards
ROTES addresses the growing demand for skilled roof technicians, responding to changing sectoral requirements. ROTES aims to attract young talent and combat the shortage of qualified technicians through the combination of vocational education and apprenticeship. Its key objectives are to update occupational requirements to include green, digital, and safety skills, develop a customized curriculum for dual vocational training, introduce flexible learning methods, and support VET providers in adapting to new skill demands. Ultimately, ROTES seeks to validate and integrate its outcomes into competence frameworks and certification schemes to enhance vocational education and training in the roofing industry.
